Chris and Aubrey Ruiz have a passion for leading worship that is both authentic and Spirit-filled. They love serving at their home church, Village Community Church in Houston, Texas, while also traveling to lead at special worship events, conferences, and gatherings.

 

Joy Fire was birthed out of their deep desire to worship in community — to create space and time to run after the Lord together and give Him the glory He deserves. Their heart is to see worship marked by the joy of the Lord and the fire of His presence, overflowing in every gathering.

 

A vital part of their ministry is doing this as a family. Their two daughters, Via and Kaiya, often join them in worship, making each moment not only a community experience but also a family one. Chris and Aubrey hope to model for their children what true and authentic worship looks like — joyfully giving all to Jesus and leading others to do the same.
